Community In-Home Services

Family dysfunction and crisis is not an uncommon occurrence as adolescents work through a tumultuous developmental stage. The goal is to help family members understand their role in healthy family functioning, establish family system hierarchy, and develop necessary interpersonal and parenting skills.

These services are also designed for families of students who are returning home following discharge from a residential placement. Families learn to be empowered to provide the crucial support their children need following discharge from a residential placement. We have found that without such support, old patterns return and newly learned behavior and family functioning disappear. This continued support reinforces the positive changes made while the student was in a structured residential setting.
