In appreciation of our donors, Timber Ridge School hosts two major annual events.
Timber Ridge School Benefit Golf Tournament
In memory of Charles A. Ricketts is a long-standing tradition. This golf tournament began in 2003 and has grown into an established annual benefit event taking place at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in August. In 2020, the golf tournament began transitioning from a fundraising event to a donor appreciation event. Rather than sponsor or play for a team, depending on total donation amount given in the previous 12-month period, donors may have an opportunity to participate as our guest. If you are interested in sponsorship ranging from $250 to $10,000+, and/or entering a team, please contact the Development office.
Holiday at the Movies
Our newest annual event taking place in late fall at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Winchester VA just in time for the Holiday new movie releases. Donors a nd volunteers receive an invitation and tickets to a night at the movies with their family and friends, where they can choose between two designated movie screenings. The number of tickets offered are based on the amount of donations received in the course of the previous 12 months.
Movie RSVP
If you received the Holiday at the Movies email or mailing, you are invited to the Holiday at the Movies event on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Winchester. GOLDEN TICKETS are only good for the night of the event and include a credit voucher for food/non-alcoholic beverages, so bring your tickets with you. Donor tickets are transferable to family and friends.
Invitations and Golden Tickets will be mailed out in early November. Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 26th.
